If it's not Thanksgiving Turkey it's Christmas cocktails and nibbles. Overeating is only a small part of the "Seasonal Sabotage" that targets both sexes.
Ladies, we do look elegant and tall in those stilettos but sadly the design of those red soled, high-heeled shoes, not only distorts the muscles of the foot but also impact posture significantly. And not in a good way either! If you're anything like me, you need to sit down somewhere comfy after about 15 mins (that's on a good day!)
Generally, crossing one's legs is a great lady-like way to show off our curves. However, sitting in a cross-legged position aligns the hip and sit bones contrary to the direction they should be in. This will oftentimes cause numbness in your legs and.... you guessed it...lower back pain! Fellas, don't gloat as you hang out in your sensible loafers. You're the ones who often work too late, attend every possible calorie laden lunch and then hang out at the pub or with you pals over a poker table.
