Gemma's passion for dance lead her to complete a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts in Dance. Through her dance degree she suffered back pain and began her personal practice in Pilates, she was amazed at how her body changed and how her dance technique improved. Gemma wanted to spread this knowledge so she completed her Pilates certification through The Australian Pilates Method Association in 2003. Gemma worked for many years at A Sports medicine clinic in Melbourne where she gained in depth experience in Pilates Rehabilitation. Her spirit for travel lead her to teach Pilates in London under Trevor Blount who was the founder of the PILATES foundation in the UK. She then moved to Nicaragua where she continued to train further in group fitness and TRX suspension. Gemma has since furthered her education with the Xtend barre method. Gemma's knowledge of Pilates, dance and fitness makes her classes and private sessions alike, energizing, challenging with the effect of feeling realigned and free of tension.
