Born in HK and raised in Toronto, Canada, Gary is a passionate instructor who has more than 18 years of training and coaching experience in the fitness industry. He also holds a Taekwondo Black belt 3rd degree specialized in Self-defense and Patterns.
Through years of training in martial arts and braving through numerous injuries himself, he realized that Pilates is not only good for rehabilitation but is also a great exercise to help one to peak his fitness performance through strengthening his body proprioception, core and balance. He believes that Pilates is one of the safest activities for all ages and he would love to share his own fitness journey through his classes.
Gary is certified in Polestar Pilates Mat and Studio Comprehensive. Beside Pilates, he is also a Les Mills certified instructor in Bodypump and BodyCombat. In his spare time he also teaches Crossfit, HIIT, TRX, bootcamp, Stretches, Taekwondo and self-defense.
