Extreme Weather Protocol

Extreme Weather Protocol

The underlying objective of Iso Fit in the case of storms and storm warnings is to continue to provide scheduled sessions so long as the safety of staff members and clients is not compromised. The following is a general guideline of Iso Fit storm protocol but when safe and convenient for both clients and teachers, sessions may be conducted at any time.

A special bulletin board will be set up on the home page of the Iso Fit website where updates regarding work, client attendance arrangements will be posted in the event of a Typhoon or heavy rain.

The studio will remain open and operate as normal under the following bad weather conditions:

  1. Amber/Red Rainstorm warning

  2. Typhoon 1/Typhoon 3

Clients should report to Iso Fit as soon as possible if they are having any problems as a result of the weather. This will be dealt with on a case by case basis

Extreme weather conditions:

  1. Typhoon 8

  2. Black Rainstorm warning

Warning/Signal is currently in force:

  • Studio is closed

  • All sessions are cancelled

  • If the warning/signal is issued during a session, then the session may be finished. Clients who have great hardships in travelling may stay at the studio until it is safe for them to leave.

Warning/Signal is projected to be raised (on official Government website):

  • Studio is open until 1 hour before the warning/signal is projected to be hoisted.

  • Clients should report to Iso Fit as soon as possible if they are having any problems as a result of the weather. This will be dealt with on a case by case basis

Warning/Signal is downgraded:

  • If it is downgraded before 2pm, then the studio will re-open 2 hours after the lowering of the Signal/warning.*

  • If it is downgraded after 2pm, then the studio will stay closed for the day, and re-open the following day.*

*Sessions may be conducted at any time after the lowering of warning/signal  should teachers be available to teach and clients available to come in. This is as agreed between the client and teacher.
