COVID-19 Corona Virus Update

Mask Free Exercise from the 19 May 2022!

19 May 2022

Hi everyone,

We hope you are all well. We have loved having you back in the studio this last month!

Covid restrictions relaxed further

Some more good news - from the 19 May 2022, clients will be able to exercise mask free! The government requires that the air change per hour (fresh air) (ACH) is 6 or above in any room where exercise is occurring. Both the studio room and the group room meet this requirement (we have 2 air purifiers in each room).

As usual, we will be following all the Government Covid safety regulations very closely and will be taking every possible measure to keep our studio safe-see below.

  • Our teachers will be taking regular Rapid Antigen tests to ensure quick detection of the virus and reduce the risk of spreading.

  • All clients will still be required to check in to Iso Fit using the vaccine pass (as required by the gov). Kindly make all necessary arrangements to help with this process before your next session.

  • As per before, we will be implementing our usual policies and protective measures regarding Hygiene and Safety - you can read more about them below.

Bookings: Please make your bookings for April and May as soon as possible. Book online or email us for assistance.

Further, starting 19th May 2022 clients will be able to exercise in groups of 8 rather than the current 4 in a partitioned area, which means we are slowly transitioning to normal operations at the studio.

We also have a whole list of welcome promotions to help motivate you to get back in the studio - read more here!

Stay safe!

Best wishes The Iso Fit team

Hygiene and Safety

Here at Iso Fit, we are doing everything within our power to create an even cleaner and safer environment for you to train in. Hygiene practices for our teachers, staff and you, our valued clients, have been bolstered significantly. We have requested that on arrival to Iso Fit, teachers wash their hands and use alcohol gel before they start teaching. We kindly request you to do the same.

What are we doing to keep you safe?

Our studio  may be opening but we need to continue to be careful. We will be vigilant with protective measures for your health and safety, as we have been advised. Many of these involve the close cooperation of clients. Please assist us in ensuring everyones’ safety.

Iso Fit will:

  • Take temperature checks at the studio entrance.

  • Request clients to register every visit using the Leave Home Safe App and validate their vaccination records. Clients will have to show proof of vaccination via the Vaccine pass.
  • Provide sanitizer and soap for clients and staff members for hand cleansing when entering the studio.

  • Request teachers to wear a mask at all times (apart from designated Vaccinated only times and classes).

  • Request teachers to test negative via a rapid antigen test before coming in to work.

  • Request clients to wear a mask at all times (apart from designated Vaccinated only times and classes). Plastic mask underlays are available free of charge.

  • Wipe down of equipment surface before and after use. Part of this effort will include providing disinfectant spray and wipes for our clients to use during their sessions.

  • Disinfect of all areas and surfaces within Iso Fit on a regular basis.

  • Create extra space between equipment as well as strategically block off some equipment in order to create distance between clients.

  • Regularly re-apply Raze anti bacterial agent to the wood and leather surfaces. This is a self-sanitising coating is a breakthrough photocatalyst technology which uses light to break down indoor pollutants, rendering them obsolete.

  • Operate Air Purifiers in both studios

  • Keep windows open where possible to increase ventilation.

  • Continue to stagger some of the group class times in order to minimize contact between classes and the amount of people that gather in reception at the same time - please check the schedule for the updated times.

  • Limit the number of clients in the studio:

    • 8 maximum in a group class (not including teacher). (TO BE CONFIRMED)

    • 8 maximum in the studio room (not including teachers). (TO BE CONFIRMED)

    • 2 Maximum in Physio room (not including teachers)

  • Provide masks and disposable latex gloves for those that want extra protection during sessions.

  • Provide the option for clients to purchase their own straps to use on the reformer/gyro tower.

  • Provide strategic barriers/partitions between pieces of equipment.

What can you do?

  • If you are travelling outside of HK for a short trip (where you will return and finish quarantine within 3 weeks), please do not attend Iso Fit sessions in the period just before you leave. There are cases where people catch Covid overseas, and everybody they have come into contact with going back 3 weeks need to be put into quarantine. We want to avoid this scenario.
  • You are required to wear a mask during your sessions (apart from designated Vaccinated only times and classes).
  • You are required to use the Leave Home Safe app when entering Iso Fit
  • Towels. Carry two with you – one to spread across each machine and one to wipe sweat from your face.
  • Sanitize and wash your hands with soap as often as possible. Sanitizer is provided.
  • We encourage you to take advantage of the wipes and sprays around the studio to wipe down equipment before and after use. Please ask teachers for assistance with this. This is a combined effort between teacher and client.
  • Carry Kleenex or some tissues around with you. Try to use when touching your face or things like the water fountain.
  • We is now a requirement for all clients to be vaccinated, we also recommend for all clients to take regular RAT tests, to help break any possible transmission chains in the community.
  • Stay informed and be sensible.

Thank you so much for your cooperation.

Finally it is our unquestionable goal that every client in every session or class has a great work out and a wonderful experience!!
