COVID-19 Corona Virus Policy Update - Nov 2020

The latest government guidelines means that there are a maximum of two people allowed per group (including the teacher) OR 1.5m distance OR effective partitioning. 

As a result, we are still able to have the following types of classes:

• Private classes - no change
• Duet/Semi Private classes - as long as there is a partition or 1.5m between the clients
• Group classes - as long as there is a partition or 1.5m between the clients

So we will continue running all classes, but will ensure a strategic configuration to ensure that we adhere to the Government guidelines that come into effect on Wednesday the 2 December 2020.

There have been many inquiries to the government with regards to the interpretation of the latest guidelines, and they have said they will issue a clarification later today. If anything changes, we will be sure to let you know. 

We will continue to remain vigilant on our hygiene and mask protocols (see below for more details).

25 Nov 2020 - UPDATE

Here is a breakdown of the latest news:

• All staff, including David, Dawnna, Ash have tested negative (all staff have been tested)

• The teacher who taught the positive case has tested negative.

• All clients that have reported back to us have tested negative (We encourage you to let us know your results when you get them).  

• A deep clean has been performed on 25th Nov 2020. 

• No staff will be allowed back to the studio until a negative test result has been received (or a 14 day isolation period has been reached)

• The teacher who had contact with the positive test will isolate from Iso Fit for 14 days, and will get a second test before returning. 

• The government have not placed any extra restrictions on us

• Gyms and studios in HK are to remain open. The only change being that businesses are required to implement the Leave Home Safe app. We will implement this app immediately.

Hygiene and Safety

We are doing everything within our power to create an even cleaner and safer environment for you to train in. Hygiene practices for our teachers, staff and you, our valued clients, have been bolstered significantly. We have requested that on arrival to Iso Fit, teachers wash their hands and use alcohol gel before they start teaching and between clients. We kindly request you to do the same.

What are we doing to keep you safe?

Our studio  may be opening but we need to continue to be careful. We will be vigilant with protective measures for your health and safety, as we have been advised. Many of these involve the close cooperation of clients. Please assist us in ensuring everyones’ safety.

Iso Fit will:

• Take  temperature checks at the studio entrance.

• Provide sanitizer and soap for clients and staff members for hand cleansing when entering the studio.

• Request clients to complete a very short health questionnaire before taking a class or session OR request clients to use the Leave Home Safe App by scanning the QR code whenever they attend. Please be diligent when completing this every time you enter our studio.

• Request teachers to wear a mask at all times.

• Request clients to wear a mask at all times. Plastic mask underlays are available free of charge.

• Wipe down of equipment surface before and after use. Part of this effort will include providing disinfectant spray and wipes for our clients to use during their sessions.

• Disinfect of all areas and surfaces within Iso Fit on a regular basis.

• Create extra space between equipment as well as strategically block off some equipment in order to create distance between clients. 

• Regularly re-apply Raze anti bacterial agent to the wood and leather surfaces. This is a self-sanitising coating is a breakthrough photocatalyst technology which uses light to break down indoor pollutants, rendering them obsolete. 

• Operate Air Purifiers in both studios

• Keep windows open to increase ventilation.

• Continue to stagger group class times in order to minimize contact between classes and the amount of people that gather in reception at the same time - please check the schedule for the updated times. 

• Limit the number of clients in the studio:

• 6 maximum in a group class (not including teacher). 

• 6 maximum in the studio room (not including teachers). 

• 2 Maximum in Physio room (not including teachers)

• Provide masks for those that want extra protection during sessions. 

• Provide the option for clients to purchase their own straps to use on the reformer/gyro tower. (Contact us if you are interested)

• Provide strategic barriers/partitions between pieces of equipment.

What can you do?

• Download the Leave Home Safe app, and scan the QR code whenever attending Iso Fit. 
• If you are feeling unwell, do not attend your session. (Clients who display any flu-like symptoms will be requested to leave the studio)
• If you have been to any high risk locations (Any locations on the list of specified premises for mandatory testing) or have been in contact with anybody that has been to these locations, please do not attend your session. 
• You are required to wear a mask during your sessions
• Towels. Carry two with you – one to spread across each machine and one to wipe sweat from your face.
• Sanitize and wash your hands with soap as often as possible. Sanitizer is provided.
• We encourage you to take advantage of the wipes and sprays around the studio to wipe down equipment before and after use. Please ask teachers for assistance with this. This is a combined effort between teacher and client. 
• Carry Kleenex or some tissues around with you. Try to use when touching your face or things like the water fountain. 
• Stay informed and be sensible.
