Meet Lai Tak Wai, a dedicated movement specialist with a background in modern dance, having graduated from the HKAPA. Formerly a full-time dancer at Cloud Gate Dance Theatre in 2005 and a member of CCDC from 2008 to 2014, Lai's passion for movement garnered him the prestigious "Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer" award at the 2014 Hong Kong Dance Awards.
In 2017, Lai showcased his artistic prowess through the creation of the full-length solo work "So Low," which not only captivated audiences but also earned him the "Outstanding Choreography" award at the 2018 Hong Kong Dance Awards.
Throughout his academic journey, Lai received multiple scholarships, and his commitment to enhancing his expertise led him to delve into Pilates and GYROTONICⓇ training during his academy years. Recently achieving GYROTONICⓇ Level 1 certification, Lai is now a qualified GYROTONICⓇ teacher. Additionally, he has successfully completed the rigorous Polestar Pilates Comprehensive teacher training course.
Passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills in movement, Lai embarked on his teaching journey in Pilates and GYROTONICⓇ exercise in 2022. He takes great joy in guiding his clients toward improved well-being through these dynamic and transformative practices.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Lai ensures effective communication and connection with his diverse clientele at Iso Fit.
